About the work
Done at Shave 1994. Exhibited at Beardsmore 1995. Sampling the colour wheel or box. I had brought some pigments collected from Ghana. My first exposure to an intl artists workshop - bringing my own agenda and working within the programme. Rowenna was at workshop. El Hadji Sy was there also. My main agenda - to explore cardboard as between cardboard and paper. Also using pigments but using cardboard boxes to build a structure relating to cargo cults. This reflects in this work. Also shown at Oriel Mostyn 2002. Inner harmonies - progression through the units. I like the music of Bill Evans - played w Miles Davis - so accomplished - spent hours rehearsing but could communicate beautifully together in a group.
